内容記述 | This paper discusses the formation process of the standardized university entrance exam in the 1971 report by the Central Education Council which was the model of the Joint First-Stage Achievement Test for National and Public Universities. For this purpose, the author analyzes records of proceedings and handouts of the 25th and 26th special committee in the Central Education Council. / This study mainly clarifies two facts. First, committee members were worried about the objectivity and validity of the grade of higher school’s report, which had been proposed for evaluation in each university entrance exam. Thus, to reduce their anxiety, it was also suggested in the committee that the grade of the standardized test to university applicants was also evaluated with the grade of higher school’s report. Second, the questionnaire about some reform plans of the university entrance exam was sent to members of the Central Education Council, and the effectiveness of the plan to carry out the standardized university entrance exam was highly recognized among those members. On the basis of these facts, it is indicated that the agreement about carrying out the standardized test was formed among members of the Central Education Council. | |||||||||
