| 内容記述 | Since the nationwide school closure due to the spread of COVID-19, teachers in Japan have worked under ambiguous, unstable conditions, where they cannot inherit historically formed norms without redefining their goals and adjusting their principles of behaviors accordingly. Based on a year-long interview survey with three educators in fiscal year 2020, this study discusses their exercise of agency as individuals and with colleagues along with their accounts of school events, club activities, and school management. Based on the findings, the study attempts to create working models of teacher agency and transformative agency. | |||||||||
