| 内容記述 | インド・ヨーロッパ語族アナトリア語派に属するヒッタイト語には複数の所有表現があるが、それぞれの機能や通時的関係性はまだ十分に明らかにされていない。ヒッタイト語の名詞句所有構文では所有者は概して(代)名詞の属格形または被所有物を表す名詞に後接する拘束形態素のどちらか一方の手段で示されるが、中期ヒッタイト語には同一名詞句内でこれら両方の手段で同時に所有者が示される例がある。しかしこの表現に関する先行研究は限定的で(Hoffner & Melchert 2008)、その形式と機能の全容は不明である。本稿では、先行研究では言及されていない上記の構文の新たな用例を複数提示し、この構文は中期・後期ヒッタイト語において生産的な名詞句所有構文の一つであると考える。そして言語類型論で導入されている人称標識の概念(Haspelmath2019)を当該構文の分析に応用し、その形式の記述を行う。この構文の機能については、名詞句所有表現と譲渡可能性に関する通言語的な傾向を考慮した上で、それが譲渡不可能所有を表すとする仮説は否定する。最後に、代わって情報構造からの暫定的な分析として、この構文の所有者は対比的な要素(用語の定義によっては焦点)として提示されている仮説を提案する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Like many other languages, Hittite, an Indo-European language of the Anatolian branch, shows an array of possessive expressions. However, the precise function of many of these possessive expressions and their diachronic relationships have yet to be sufficiently identified. In adnominal possessive constructions of Hittite, the possessor is expressed by the genitive of nouns and pronouns or bound morphemes that follow the noun expressing the possessum. Interestingly, there are examples from Middle Hittite in which the possessor is simultaneously expressed by both of these methods. Previous studies on this particular construction are limited (Hoffner & Melchert 2008), and its formal characteristics and function have not been fully examined. This paper presents multiple attestations of this construction which have not been previously discussed in the literature and proposes that it is a productive construction in Middle and New Hittite. Furthermore, the concept of bound person forms, or indexing (Haspelmath 2019), popular in typological research, is applied to the analyses of the pertinent data before attempting to provide a formal description of the construction under question. As for its function, upon consideration of a cross-linguistic tendency concerning adnominal possessive constructions and alienability reported from the typological literature, the hypothesis that it expresses inalienable possession is discarded. In turn, finally, an alternative hypothesis concerning information structure is proposed, stating that this construction could be packaging the possessor as a contrastive (or focused, depending on the definition of these terms) element. | |||||||||
