| 内容記述 | 本研究では、ドマリ語エルサレム方言における動詞の一致標示のパターンを明示し、どのような歴史的背景によって複雑な一致体系が成立したのかという問いを立てる。この問いを明らかにするため、インド・アーリア語群とイラン語群について、一致標示に生じた歴史的変化を説明し、ドマリ語がどの変化を共有しているのか考察し、変則的な一致が生じた背景を説明する。結論として、以下のことを主張する。ドマリ語はMiddle Indo-Aryan期(600BC–1000AD) にインド・アーリア語群において過去分詞の受動構文が過去時制動詞として用いられ始めるまではインド・アーリア語圏に居住していたことと、New Iranian期(7c.AD–) には西イラン諸語が話されている地域に移住し、借用により、人称代名詞接辞の複数形の形式や、動作主標示に被動者標示を連ねる構造を受け容れた。その後、ドマリ語の完了相の動詞において、Middle Indo-Aryan 期の能格型の一致体系から対格型への変化が生じ、その過渡期において二重斜格型アラインメントが生じた。また、完了相の他動詞において動作主が3 人称単数、被動者が3 人称単数あるいは3 人称複数で、明示的な被動者名詞句が存在しない場合に生じる変則的な一致標示は、単子音化や重音脱落が生じ得る環境であったという音韻的な側面に加え、アラビア語をモデルとしたpattern replicationが生じたことにより成立した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study aims to describe the indexing patterns of the Domari language and consider what historical background led to the establishment of such a complicated indexing system. In this study, I describe the chronological changes of indexing patterns in Indo- Aryan and Iranian languages and discuss which innovations are shared with Domari. In conclusion, I argued that Domari speakers had stayed in Indo-Aryan languagespeaking areas until the Middle Indo-Aryan period (600BC–1000AD) when the Indo-Aryan group began to use the past participle passive constructions as past tense verbs and that they migrated to the West Iranian speaking area during the New Iranian period (7c.AD–). During this period, the plural forms of the pronominal suffixes and the structure of linking the Patient indexing to the Agent indexing became established, thus forming the complex indexing system of present Domari. In addition, as for chronological changes in Domari perfect verbs, I assume that the double oblique indexing system in Domari occurred during the period when the ergative-absolutive case agreement system of the Middle Indo-Aryan period changed to the nominative-accusative agreement system. Moreover, it is argued that the irregular agreement patterns that occur in the perfect transitive verbs with third person singular agents together with third person singular or plural patients that are not realized as explicit noun phrases, was caused not only by the phonological factor that the environment was prone to syncope but also by pattern replication modeled on Arabic. |
