| 内容記述 | There are stories and dramas, which evoke the recall of catastrophic events. Tha drama, “Pictures of That Summer (Ano natsu no e),” is a specific example of them. Focusing on the drama and the transcripts of interview of its author, the paper discusses the significance of dealing with the drama in school education based on Memory Studies and other related theories. The result of the consideration suggests the potential of literary education as a lesson in “translation” in the broadest sense, in which catastrophe narratives invite students into polyphony within the text of catastrophes itself on the one hand, and it in the classroom communication on the other hand. | |||||||||
