In recent years, workers’ mental health has attracted increasing attention, not only from the perspective of coping with and preventing mental health issues but also from the perspective of “positive mental health.” Although there is a wide range of relevant concepts, their relevance has not been comprehensively examined. This study aimed to organize findings on positive mental health. Consequently, we extracted 12 psychological concepts and described their definitions and related discussions. Our investigation of the relationships among these concepts found that their relationships were only partially clarified and that the results of the empirical research were inconsistent. Further clarification of the relationships between these concepts is required to understand the overall picture of positive mental health and develop more effective interventions. |
