本報はミスガイHydatina physis（ Linnaeus, 1758）（ミスガイ科）生貝が岩手県大槌湾内において採集されたことを報じる．本記録は三陸沿岸における本種の初の採集記録であり，本種の分布北限を更新するものである．採集された個体は殻長27.6 mm であり，貝殻の成長速度および過去の冬季水温の推移から，大槌湾において1 回越冬したものと考えられる． |

A live specimen of the green-lined paper bubble Hydatina physis（ Linnaeus, 1758）（ Family Aplustridae） was collected from Otsuchi Bay, Iwate Prefecture, Sanriku Coast, northeastern Japan. This is the first record of H. physis from Sanriku Coast, and updates the northern limit of distribution of this species. The collected specimen is 27.6 mm in shell length and estimated to have overwintered once in Otsuchi Bay, based on the growth rate of the shell on the literatures and past winter water temperature. |
