| 内容記述 | This article reviews research trends in the system of chances to apply for national and public university entrance examinations in Japan. Previous studies have analyzed the status of implementation and the policy formation process of the system. First, previous researches of the status of implementation have revealed the trend or characteristic of applicants for entrance, successful applicants and entrants after introducing the system of multiple chances to apply for national and public university entrance examinations in 1987. Second, previous researches of the policy formation process have explained the decision making process in chronological order and pointed out social or political backgrounds of the reformation of the system. These conclusions suggest future issues in the research of university entrance examinations in Japan. | |||||||||
