| 内容記述 | Although evidence-based policymaking has long been advocated, there remains a lack of knowledge regarding the policy process analysis of how research is utilized in policymaking. This article reviews a collection of studies on evidence use and research use in recent educational research. It explores the concept of evidence/research use, theoretical frameworks, and empirical research methods, summarizing the findings to date. The article confirms that unique developments have occurred in the typology of evidence use and that significant empirical research on this topic has been conducted since the 2010s, yielding important findings. Finally, the article identifies issues and prospects for future empirical research on evidence/research use in Japan, highlighting the importance of addressing the ambiguity in the concept of evidence, the gap between research and practice, organizational factors influencing evidence use, and the characteristics of the educational policy field. | |||||||||
