| 内容記述 | Of the three constructions involving "되다 doeda", which corresponds in meaning to Japanese "naru", this paper focuses on the variant in which doeda is preceded by a verb. I argue that the main function of this construction is to defocus the agentivity of the action denoted by the verb on the basis of the observation that its felicitous use requires that external circumstances be responsible for the agent's intention to perform that action. | |||||
