| 内容記述 | This survey was designed and conducted to obtain useful data in developing qualitative evaluation criteria of reference services. In October 1991,512 questionnaires were sent to main libraries located within universities and colleges all over the country; 473 questionnaires, or 92.4 percent, were completed and returned. Information was gathered on many aspects of recording reference transactions and developing reference collections as follows : (1) maintaining reference statistics and records, (2) forms of reference question records, (3) use of reference question records, (4) allocation of reference material budgets, (5) reference material selection, (6) weeding, (7) reference collection development policies. The survey findings were presented in a series of tables, and some directions for further research were identified. | |||||
