| 内容記述 | The purpose of this investigation is to test the cognitive structures of triadic relations including a teacher or an opposite-sex peer. 36 (3 roles × 4 sign combinations × 3 dyadic relations required to rate) abstract triadic relations were presented to 181 university students. Each triad consists of P (self), O (another person, varied in relation to P : a same-sex peer, an opposite-sex peer or a teacher) and the third person X (a same-sex peer). Therefore it involved three dyadic relations, namely PO, PX and OX. Two of these dyadic sentiment relations were given with + or - sign on each, and Ss were asked to estimate on seven point scales the third dyadic sentiment relation. The results showed that the characteristics of the cognitive structures of POX situations varies with O's roles and with the combinations of dyadic relations which were given as predetermined conditions. Both Heider's and Newcomb's theories should be closely re-examined taking account of these facts. | |||||
