内容記述 | Beginning with the notice of the Ministry of Education (1982) demanding to diversify the way to select teachers, each board of education has made efforts in that direction. It was expected that 'quantity'issue of teacher selection would be eased by the decline of the number of children. And instead of 'quantity', 'quality'issue would be presumed to be the main concern of boards of education. But, in spite of this presumption, boards of education have had difficulty in securing enough teachers. "Diversification" has been used as a method to get many teachers not to select 'quality'teachers. We investigated the opinions and reactions of boards of education to the "diversification" and to the relation between 'quantity'and 'quality'of teachers. As the result, we found that "diversification" in teacher selection in fact has worked as a way to "standardize" the 'quality'of teachers according to the "standardized" model. | |||||
