| 内容記述 | In this paper, I examined two questions; the first, how do the vocational qualifications induce the female high school students to choose the institution in Japan, which has two short-term higher educational institutions, the senmon-gakko, so-called Japanese vocational school and the junior college, of which institutional positioning is very different? And the second, what kinds of qualifications (the aspect of the quality) and how many qualifications do the youth female do and will earn (the aspect of the quantity)? For this purpose, I exercised logistic analysis and descriptive analysis. These analyses clarified the following two findings. The first, a qualification intention of the female students has the negative influence on choosing a university (when based on a vocational school). But some bias may have been in the distribution of the social classes among the samples. The second, the kind of qualifications which the female students aimed at is connected with the major of the educational institutions. For example, while the qualifications given by the senmon-gakko have more highly specific natures, the qualifications given by the junior college have more general natures. I will make it into a future subject, the considerations on the institutional and career meanings brought by these differences. | |||||
