The study on college choice process has always caught great attention of many researchers and as a result a great accumulation on the theoretical study has been achieved. However, the study on this issue was only carried out separately so far in the economic, sociological and psychological discipline. In this paper, firstly theory of college choice is reviewed by respectively applying three models which are status attainment model, cost-benefit model and consumption model. Then the equality of educational opportunity issue is reexamined by applying Sen\u0027s capability approach.
