Results suggested that older students tended to experience anger, sadness, and joy more in peer relations compared to the younger students. And it was also found that girls tended to have more emotional experiences than boys did in intimate relations and in praise situations. 内容記述 A total of 396 elementary school students were asked to describe the situations in which they had experienced each of the four kinds of emotion : anger, sadness, joy, and shame. A categorical system to classify the obtained situations was constructed for each emotion. Differences of the situations among four emotions were discussed. Using this categorical system, developmental changes and sex differences were also analyzed. Results suggested that older students tended to experience anger, sadness, and joy more in peer relations compared to the younger students. And it was also found that girls tended to have more emotional experiences than boys did in intimate relations and in praise situations. These results suggest that developmental changes and sex differences are necessary to consider about the research of children's emotional experiences.
