| 内容記述 | Previous studies have thought that parent-child moral indoctrinated in prewar 'Shushin'(moral education) was feudalistic and pre-modern one based upon the family system and Confucianism. This is because 'Ko'(filial piety), which had been urged repeatedly by Imperial Rescript on Education and the textbook of 'Shushin', derives from Confucianism. However, the notion of 'Ko'in early modern Confucianism was one-sided duty that was imposed by 'Tenn'(Heaven) , whereas the National Morality made by the Imperial Rescript on Education changed this notion into the mutual duty between parents and children, using the discourse of natural affection between parents and children. In addition, the National Morality imposed parents the duty to raise their children to be obedient subjects in the interests of the affection and responsibility to their children. The discourse of natural affection between parents and children also contributed to make people feel the notion ‘Chu-Ko Icchi’ (correspondence between loyalty and filial piety) as if it had been the incomparable tradition indigenous in Japan. Thinking ‘Ko’ as natural affection, and viewing the relationship between the Emperor and subjects as paternal relationship functioned in order to establish ‘Chu-Ko Icchi’ and ‘Family-State’ as new tradition, disguising to be old one. | |||||
