| 内容記述 | This paper presents some examples of community-based education and outreach activities on earthquake disaster mitigation and preparedness. Throughout our activities of three years, it becomes clear that the large earthquakes that occurred closed to the local area are useful educational materials and interviews to the victims are one of the most successful projects. We take 1945 Mikawa earthquake as an example. This earthquake killed 2,306 parsons, and damaged more than 20,000 houses, but it was not well covered in newspapers to the other area because the event occurred in war time. The many victims still live in the southern part of Aichi Prefecture, and it is not so di cult to get information on the examples on the damage and the recovering process from the interview. We make the drawing sketches from the interview and used them for panel displays at local community and high school festival to propagate the concrete information on an earthquake disaster. With the help of the systematic lecture and training, the drawing sketches give strong impression to the audiences and it becomes clear that the drawing sketches based the interview is one of the effective materials for outreach activity on earthquake disaster mitigation. Several examples of our activity are introduced in this paper. | |||||
