| 内容記述 | We present here a report on the results of X-ray analyses and chemical analyses of the specular iron (hematite) produced in a steam vent of Mt. Maekake, the inner somma of Volcano Asama. The X-ray analyses showed us the presence of minor quantities of magnetite besides hematite, and the measurement after accurate correction by mixing silicon as a standard proved that the hematite is of the quite common variety with lattice constants a0: 5.034Å and c0: 13.73Å. | |||||
