内容記述 | The purpose of this article is to clarify the concept of “double vision” in the thought of Donald A. Schön, and to consider its effect on the reflection of professionals. In the 1960s-1970s, the professional took an active role in the model of “technical rationality”, but after the 1980s, the expected role of professionals has changed as a result of diversification of the sense of values. It becomes more significant matter for the professionals how to find the problem to resolve in the complicated situation. The professional's “artistry” is the ability to find the “problem” by framing the problematic situation and naming it. As a professional's practice becomes more repetitive and routine, and as knowing-in-practice becomes increasingly tacit, the professionals may miss important opportunities to think about what he doing. When this happens, the professional has “over-learned” what he knows. Schön suggests that a professional's “double vision” can serve as a corrective to over-learning. The professionals must act in accordance with the view the adopted, but he must recognize that he can always break it open later. If the teacher as a professional of education maintains his double vision, even while deepening his commitment to a chosen frame, he a increases his chance of arriving at a deeper understanding of children. |
