In this article, we discussed physicians and lawyers as professional prototypes and historically considered what practical requirements had been established for each professional job.\n In particular, we examined of the process of establishing “ jicchi-syuren (physicians’ practical training)” and “jitsumu-syusyu (lawyers)” in the prewar period, which became the institutional base after the war, mainly on the discourse of the actors involved in training.
