| 内容記述 | In this paper, we reveal why they decided to establish the Ad Hoc Council on Education (AHCE), from the politicalsituation at the beginning of the second Nakasone cabinet in January 1984. Owing to the defeat of the Liberal Democratic Party(LDP) in the general election in December 1983, Prime Minister Nakasone was demanded the cooperative Diet management with the opposition parties. Because of this background, he decided to establish AHCE based on the requests of the Democratic Socialist Party(DSP) and the Komeito, which was an official reason. It is likely that the need for consideration for the opposition made it easy to persuade the education zoku of the LDP, its critiques of Diet members with special influence in Educational policy, to accept the AHCE. And an important point of this paper we indicate is that centrist parties played a key role in making educational policy in multiparty age in the 1970s and 1980s in Japan. | |||||
