| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify policies for international students, which govern admission practices in Korean universities, to identify how the quantity and quality of international student admissions are balanced. Although the Korean government launched a quality control system for admitting international students in 2011, the language ability regulations have been continually relaxed to have more international students study in Korea. Korean universities that receive more quality international students compared to other universities were found to be large private universities in metropolitan areas screening international students mainly by requesting application documents, as well as via other means, depending on the characteristics of each academic discipline. | |||||
