内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to examine the characteristic features of students of Secondary School Attached to the Faculty of Education, the University of Tokyo (SSAFE), which has engaged in comprehensive learning for decades, especially graduation research, under the educational goal to develop“inquiry”, “citizenship” and “cooperation” of students. Through the comparison of the results of questionnaire survey data between the students of SSAFE and students of other schools, the following points were observed; First, SSAFE students show a stronger commitment and inclination to“inquiry” than students of other schools. Second, concerning“citizenship” and “cooperation”, SSAFE students show little special features or even slightly weaker orientations than students of other schools. Third, SSAFE students show more negative attitudes towards traditional types of teaching methods and STEM subjects than students of other schools. Fourth, some characteristic features found out among SSAFE students concerning recognitions of social realities and aspirations. For example, they have stronger recognitions about the social effects of economic capitals, weaker recognitions about the social inequality, poverty and the competition in society, and more confident prospects of their own vocational careers. Fifth, the length of studying time except for school classes of SSAFE students is relatively shorter than students of other schools. | |||||
