| 内容記述 | 本稿では、ケチュア語アヤクーチョ方言における自他交替の振る舞いを、心理動詞における刺激・経験者間の作用の双方向性に着目して記述する。Haspelmath (1993) による31 の動詞対でアヤクーチョ方言の自他交替派生パターンを調査したところ、この言語は通言語的に見ても有指向性派生、特に使役型の派生パターンを好むことが明らかになった。さらに、使役型派生パターンを取る動詞と逆使役型派生パターンを取る動詞の分布は、Haspelmath (1993; 2016) が提案する動詞の「自発性」のスケールに概ね従っていることも明らかになった。一方で、心理動詞の自他交替に着目すると、アヤクーチ ョ方言では稀な両極派生型パターンを持つものが集中して見られる。これは、心理状態変化が「経験者から刺激への注意」と「刺激から経験者への影響」の双方向の力動性を同時に含意するという両極性 (Croft 2012) を持つからであると考えられる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper explores causal–noncausal verb alternations in Ayacucho Quechua with special reference to psych verbs. This paper has three major points. First, Ayacucho Quechua shows a great propensity for causative coding. The noncausal member is basic, while the causal member is derived with the causative suffix -chi. Second, despite the general preference for causative coding in this language, psych verbs tend to show equipollent coding: the noncausal member is marked with the reflexive suffix -ku, and the causal member is derived with -chi. Lastly, this coding preference of psych verbs is due to two opposing force-dynamic patterns that psych verbs involve (Croft 2012). | |||||
