In order to analyze these strategies, the study uses the data of NICT JLE Corpus which includes spoken data by Japanese learners of English. As the results of analysis, the learners having different levels have used strategies differently about the types and frequency of them. The strategies in the interaction were regrouped according to their distinctions to show clearly how the learners use them. In the discussion section, two items are discussed: the factors which affect the variation in the frequency of strategies and the effects of tasks in role play.
