| 内容記述 | Second-moment closures are turbulence models which consist of differential or algebraic equations, each governing the balance between generation, redistribution, dissipation and transport of a related Reynolds stress or a scalar flux. The paper argues the potential advantages of using such closures in preference to eddy-viscosity models in the presence of body forces brought about by fluid recirculation, swirl and buoyancy. Some basic forms of second-moment closure are introduced, and their numerical implementation is discussed | |||||
