| 内容記述 | The Kayin state locates south eastern part of Myanmar and shares border with Thai. Precipitous Dawna range lays along the border. There had been sporadic conict between Myanmar military and the Karen National Union （KNU） in the border area since independence of Myanmar （Burma）. The government has prioritized internal peace and progressed ceasere negotiation with various armed groups after democratization in 2011. The government reached ceasere agreement with the KNU in January 2012. In October 2015, the government and eight armed organizations signed the Nationwide Ceasere Agreement （NCA）. Three of these eight armed organizations are Kayin armed groups. These three groups have develop a positive attitude to peace process along the NCA. Relating to this peace process （NCA process） in Myanmar, the Kayin state is the most progressive area. On the other hand, there are six major Kayin armed groups in the state. Their relationship to the government is diversied. / The purpose of this paper is to discuss the responce to current peace process by Kayin armed groups. And introduce some speculation about problems of the current peace process. For this purpose, movement of Kayin armed groups and political environment in the Kayin state are grasped. | |||||||||
