内容記述 | This article studies the process and character of the development of the extra-curricular activities theory in the United States from 1927 to 1952. In the article, the works of the leading theorists of extra-curricular activities, E.K. Fretwell’s Extra-Curricular Activities in Secondary School and the first (1927), revised (1937), third (1952) editions of H.C. McKown’s Extra-Curricular Activities, were analyzed. As a result, it was clarified that the theory of extra-curricular activities is based on a unified and integrated view of school educational activities as a whole, and that its development can be organized in two directions: “step-by-step” understanding of the development process of activities, and concretization and fixing of the content of activities. | |||||||||
