| 内容記述 | This paper aims to review the theoretical discussion and actual cases regarding identity formation through education in post-conflict societies, examining the role of education in sustainable peace after conflict. In countries that experienced identity-based conflicts, the question of “who we are” becomes an important discussion point for integrating citizens from diverse backgrounds. This paper provides an overview of strategies for identity formation, and examines the role of education through “assimilation” and “multiculturalism”. Using post-conflict countries as case studies, it finds how school education defines the concept of “we.” Through the overviews, additional perspectives were found which is for promoting curricula that are inclusive, critical, and foster positive social cohesion. | |||||||||
