| 内容記述 | 中国語の起点標識“从”は、起点用法を主とする一方、移動の中聞経路を表す用法をも併せ持つ。本論文では、“从”の持つ様々な中間経路用法と起点用法の意味関係に注目し、先行研究のように全ての"杁"の中間経路用法と起点用法に意味的共通性を見出すことは難しいと指摘し、互いに部分的な共通性を持って緩やかに関連しあう関係にあることを論じた。更に、“从”が持つ手段用法の拡張原理についても考察した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The Chinese preposition "从(cong)", whose primary function is to mark the source of a motion event, can also often be used to designate a "route". This paper is intended to elucidate the semantic relationship between the "source" use and the "route" use of "从(cong)". While all previous studies have tackled this problem by trying to identify what the two uses have in common, I argue that they should be viewed as forming a family resemblance category with certain other uses related to either or both of them in one way or another. A possible mechanism of semantic extension giving rise to the "means" use of "从(cong)" is also proposed. | |||||
