| 内容記述 | 近年東北地方で鉄製鍬先の出土例が増加し、鍬先研究の盛んな関東地方との比較研究が可能になった。本稿では、東北・関東の古代の鍬先を集成してその規格を検討し、鍬先出土遺跡の性格を分析して鍬先の生産・流通体制を考察した。その結果南東北以南では7 世紀後半の国家による新規格導入以後、11世紀まで鍬先の規格が統一され、鍬先の生産・流通に国家や、国家に結びつく勢力が関与したことが判明した。他方北東北では、8 世紀代から南東北以南とは異なる鍬先が作られ、９世紀末の鉄生産の隆盛とともに独自の規格が確立されて製鉄集落を中心に自給的な鍬先生産が展開したが、10 世紀後半の集落再編でこれらの規格は断絶し、以後製鉄機能をもつ防禦性集落単位で多様な鍬先が生産されたことが判明した | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper I collected metal edges of plows in Kanto and Tohoku district from latter 7 century to 11 century to compare the shape and size of them. I also analyzed the type of sites where those plow edges are excavated, and examined the structure of production and distribution of those edges. In Kanto and southern Tohoku district, plow edges were newly standardized in latter 7 century by Japanese ancient nation, and from 8 to 11 century shapes and sizes of all the plow edges were united. The ancient nation system of manufacture and trade played great roles in production and distribution of plow edges in this area. On the other hand in northern Tohoku district, different types of plow edges were produced from latter 7 century. In latter 9 century, as this area became a great iron-manufacturing region, a lot of plow edges were producted and new standards of plow edges, which is very different from southern area, were appeared. But in latter 10 century, these standards were disappeared, and various shapes and sizes of plow edges were made in fortressed colonies, which have iron mills insight of them. This paper concludes that there are great difference between Kanto/southern Tohoku district and northern Tohoku district about the standards of shape of plow edges and the system of production and distribution of the plow edges | |||||
