| 内容記述 | This case study aims to reconsider imitation in a play involving young children in kindergarten based on Gadamer's “Truth and Method.” In this book, Gadamer discusses a play and relates it to the experience of art, more specifically a theatrical drama, and examines the mode of the play. Next, he demonstrates that imitation in a play is not mere repetition but the act of “bringing forth” from a model./ Our study clarifies the following points. First, although a young child who is engrossed in a play enjoys both the imitation and repetition, these aspects differ according to the audience; further, they differ according to the player's recognition of them, which arises during the play. Second, imitation in a play necessitates an audience because it is an expression, and the audience, which also acts as a player, contributes to the realization of the play. Third, when the representation of imitation in a play is realized, the players recognize the essence of the play. | |||||
