内容記述 | About ten years ago, Prof. Hagiwara has experimentally shown that the damping force f of a magnetic damper is given by the next expression f=(Cφ^2συD)/S where φ, σ, υ, D and S are total flux, specific conductivity, velocity, thickness of the metallic plate and area of the magnetic field respectively. By use of elliptic functions the writer proved theoretically this relation when the metallic plate and the magnetic field are both rectangular.
