| 内容記述 | 石川県加賀市塩屋方言は、母音の広狭、子音の有声性といった語の分節音の構造によってアクセント核の置かれうる位置が厳しく制限されるという特徴を有する。語音の構造に加え、語の長さ、語種、形態素境界の位置といった要素も複雑に関与する。これらの特徴は金沢市方言（上野・新田 1982, 1983）など石川県加賀地方の諸方言に広く共通する性質とみられるが、加賀地方南部にありながら子音の有声性がアクセントの分布に密接に関与する点など、従来報告のあった近隣の方言（加賀市大聖寺方言など）との相違点も認められる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The Shioya dialect spoken in Kaga City, Ishikawa Pref., has the characteristic that the location of accent (the position of pitch fall) is mostly determined according to the segmental features such as vowel height and voicedness of consonants. Also at work are such characteristics as the length, the etymology (whether it is of foreign origin or not) and the morphological structure of the word. While constraints such as these are widely shared among dialects in the Kaga region, for instance the Kanazawa dialect (Uwano & Nitta 1982, 1983), the Shioya dialect is different from neighboring dialects in southern Kaga in that voicedness of the onset consonant plays a role in accent placement. | |||||
