内容記述 | This paper aims at examining the actuality, problem and possibility of research-based active learning (RBAL) using the data from four questionnaire surveys. After the review of the education policies, the existing researches and discussions concerning active learning, we focus on RBAL as the genuine and developed mode of active learning, which is expected to integrate knowledges and activities and to break the passivity of learners. In order to grasp the reality of RBAL within high schools, we conducted questionnaire surveys to educational committees, principals of high schools, high school teachers and students of University of Tokyo. The findings are; though the dissemination of RBAL is limited, RBAL is popular among specific types of high schools; the limitation of the dissemination of RBAL is caused by the insufficiency of the learning time within the school curriculum, the school budget and the teaching skills of teachers; in particular, the skills about research methods among high school teachers are unsatisfactory; therefore there are strong needs for teachers with high skills of RBAL coaching within high schools; the undergraduate and graduate students of University of Tokyo willing to be teachers have high skills of information collection and logical writing, while their skills of coaching and research methods are not enough. | |||||
